About Us: Our family has been raising Yorkshire Terrier puppies with great success. The reason we rear dogs (Yorkies) is and always has been our love for Yorkshire Terriers. Example of our Contract:
This contract is entered into on [Date: ] by and between Joachim Goerg Breeder Kennel located at 5414 Colony Way, Hoover, Alabama 35226 (hereinafter referred to as “Breeder”), and [Purchaser Name], located at [Address] (hereinafter referred to as “Purchaser”).
The Breeder agrees to sell to the Purchaser, and the Purchaser agrees to purchase from the Breeder, a purebred Yorkshire -Terrier (hereinafter referred to as “Dog”) with the following characteristics:
[Description of Dog, including breed, sex, color, date of birth, and any other relevant details]
The Purchaser agrees to pay the Breeder the sum of $ xxxxx for the Dog. The Purchaser shall make payment in full prior of transfer of the dog unless picked up in person at the breeder’s location.
Our Dogs are raised in a loving family environment within our home and are pre-socialized to the best of our ability and into the best way, it is possible at the young age of the puppy.
The Breeder represents and warrants that the Dog is in good health at the time of transfer to the Purchaser and has received all necessary vaccinations.
The Purchaser agrees to provide the Dog with proper care, including but not limited to:
- Adequate food, water, and shelter
- Regular exercise and socialization
- Annual veterinary check-ups and any necessary medical treatment
The Purchaser further agrees to not use the Dog for breeding purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing with the breeder. Therefore, the AKC registration will be “Limited”, Meaning breathing is not prohibited, unless an explicit permission is given from the breeder to the buyer in writing. We decided to adopt his policy in order to preserve the pure pedigree of our line of breed since we are striving for Championship status
In the event that the Dog becomes lost or stolen, the Purchaser agrees to immediately notify the Breeder and provide any relevant information to assist in the recovery of the Dog.
In the event that the Purchaser is unable to continue caring for the Dog, the Purchaser agrees to contact the Breeder and return the Dog to the Breeder’s care. The Purchaser shall not sell, transfer, or otherwise give the Dog to any other person or organization without the written consent of the Breeder.
This contract shall be governed by the laws of the state of Alabama. Any disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved in a court of law located in Jefferson County, Birmingham, Alabama..

Once payment has cleared, the dog will be delivered or shipped as agreed prior to the sales transaction.

To the best of my knowledge this dog is free from any health defects, and is the best pet quality I have to offer. The Dog is guaranteed free of any health defects for a period of 72 hours from date of purchase. This does not include any injuries or problems this Dog develops due to neglect or abuse by purchaser. This does not include any conditions such as skin allergy, respiratory problems, sugar shock, hypoalvcemia, low blood sugar, etc. If in the opinion of your veterinarian this Dog has any health defects which make it a poor health risk, you may within 72 hours from the date of purchase return the Dog to seller at the purchasers expense for full credit towards another dog of equal value.
To make claim under this provision you must return the Dog to the seller with all purchasing papers within 3 days within purchase with a signed statement from the vet, showing the date of the examination and all reasons why you or the Veterinarian believe this Dog carries a poor health risk. In the event of a replacement Dog the Buyer is responsible for shipping cost for the new puppy as well as the cost of the return puppy, shipping crate, health certificate and any additional costs. The original cost is only for the value of the puppy. If the puppy is not examined by a vet within 72 hours (excluding weekends or Holidays) of purchase the contract is null and void. The puppy is a teacup puppy, and to the best of the breeders knowledge it will not exceed teacup size as an adult, based on the experience of the breeder based on the age and the weight of the puppy on the date of sale. In the event, the puppy should reach a bigger size than teacup or gets heavier, the puppy will not be refunded or exchanged. Please be aware this could also be due to feeding habits of the purchaser. Any guarantee of teacup size as an adult Dog is nonexistent and strictly excluded from this contract agreement. No guarantee of teacup size as an adult Dog will be given by the breeder.
DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE IF THE PURCHASER DOES NOT PAY THE BALANCE OF THE PUPPY BY 8 WEEKS OF AGE UNLESS ANOTHER DATE IS AGREED UPON BY SELLER IN WRITING.
IN THE EVENT OF ANY LITIGATION IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTRACT, BOTH THE SELLER AND THE BUYER SHALL EACH BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN ATTORNEY’S FEES AND COST. THE VENUE AND JURISDICTION FOR LITIGATION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT SHALL LIE EXCLUSIVELY IN
JEFFERSON COUNTY, BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA. IN THE EVENT THE BUYER PREVAILS IN LITIGATION, THE TOTAL AWARDED VALUE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE, BUYER AGREES TO ALL STIPULATIONS OF THIS CONTRACT WHEN ACCEPTING AND PAYING FOR THE PUPPY PURCHASED.
